Much of Roadfeel is free. Each state’s paid module is one payment in US dollars, not a subscription.

What Roadfeel is
Roadfeel (路感) is an independent study app for US driver’s license tests, in English and Chinese: lessons on the rules of the road, practice questions, mock tests and drive-test practice, for California and, in beta, New York. It isn’t the DMV, a driving school or a driver education course. About Roadfeel and our sources
California
California has two paid options: pick by the test you’re taking.
Complete
$19.99one payment
Everything in Written
Practice the DMV’s drive-test criteria, split into 55 points: 6 lessons, 20 questions
Example examiner instructions we wrote (not DMV’s words): hear them in English, then a listening check
Real-place 3D drives
Test-area practice: Santa Clara, Pasadena, Daly City
Written
$9.99one payment
The full bank, covering all 261 written-test points we’ve marked
Unlimited mock tests, scored at the test’s pass mark
10 more California written-test lessons
No drive test or 3D
With Written, upgrading to Complete costs the difference: now $10.00.
New York (beta)
In New York, everything paid is in Written.
Written
$9.99one payment
The full bank, covering all 298 written-test points we’ve marked
Unlimited mock tests, scored at the test’s pass mark
2 New York lessons, 1 of them for the drive test
What’s free
Always free, in every state: the basics, safety basics, sample questions, one full mock test and the first 2 state-specific lessons of each route, plus your test-point puzzle.
In California, the Caltrain crossing 3D drive is free too.
Questions you’ve already answered stay free to review.
How buying works
One payment, not a subscription. It never renews.
Buying a Roadfeel module is a license, not ownership: a personal, non-transferable license to use that state’s module for at least 24 months, with new content in your tier during that time.
Prices are in US dollars. Any sales tax is shown on the checkout page before you pay.
On the website, Creem is our merchant of record: Creem sells you the module, takes the payment on its own checkout page, handles sales tax and emails your receipt. Your card statement shows a charge from Creem.
Under 18? On the website the buyer must be an adult, so a parent or guardian pays: use Ask a parent to pay in the app.
